Description

The story is largely unchanged from Pokemon Red, but I added in the unfortunately false Pokemon rumors of the 90s, such as Pokegods, Mist Stones, and Brick Town. Not all rumors made the cut (who wants to beat the E4 40 times or with a Caterpie, or program it??), and some methods to activate these old “codes” were made a little more understandable in the context of the game.

  • Added Player Gender selection. There is a small issue when playing as the female. You’ll have the red palette in the Hall of Fame, but everywhere else should be fine.
  • Added Physical/Special Split
  • Added Link Cable Item in Celadon Dept. Store, this is an alternate to evolving Trade mons
  • Changed Stone Evos to have the same movepools as the previous mon
  • Added unpicked fossil to a new part of Mt. Moon B2 (need strength)
  • Added ability to talk to use HMs
  • Ability to return to Mt. Moon from Cerulean City
  • Added Move Reminder in Vermilion City
  • Changed the free Eevee at the top of Celadon Mansion to a Porygon
  • Changed text speed to 8 speeds, with the fastest set as default
  • Oak gives 5 PokeBalls during the Pokedex sequence
  • Pewter City sells Repels
