For a long time there was a small region located in South America called “Anduria”, one of the richest regions in both natural resources and natural diversity, starting from the south with tropical zones and humid forests, extending to the Andes Mountains. to the north with huge mountains and towering snowcaps at impressive heights.
It turns out that Anduria was in the center of South America that is why they called it “The heart of South America” but it was also the perfect target for the enemy nations, which basically surrounded it. They were looking for the natural resources that Anduria had. Pokémon and humans lived in peace and in complete harmony, until the dark days came, and the war began.
The nations surrounding Anduria had a devastating army, they had a high number of developed Pokémon. Anduria saw its end very near since its army was very poor and underdeveloped. The Andurian army began to recruit people, at least 1 man from each family had to enlist in the war.
A 15-year-old coach lived in one of the neighborhoods of Anduria, alone with his mother, since his father had died in previous wars. He was the best in town, he beat anyone with his faithful Growlithe, who was willing to do everything alongside his coach.
When recruiting people, the mother offers to go to war instead of the boy, but the boy seeing that the only thing he has left in the world is his mother, decides to escape and enlist with Growlithe in the war. Being already in the barracks before going to the battle front, the boy receives a letter and a package from his mother. The letter read:
“My son, how hard these times we have to live, and we must go through. We are so far apart, and I feel the cold of your skin on my bones, a cold that cuts through the skin of both of us. But my hopes of seeing you soon is what leads me to write these lines and give you my strength.
At home things are going as usual only you are not there and time is eternal. She sent you something so you never forget that your mother will always be by your side giving you all the warmth of her.
I pray that you come back soon.
Your mother.”
