Keitai Denjuu Telefang 2 is the sequel to the first Telefang game for the Game Boy Advance and was released in 2002. It was translated into English by PmHacks. Taking place in a different part of the Denjuu world from the first one, this game shares some qualities with Telefang 1. The battle system is similar, as is the gathering-phone-numbers system, but a good deal of things are quite different from the original. Limited-edition versions of the game included a peripheral called the Power Antenna.

The game follows a blue-haired protagonist named Kyou, by default, as he journeys on his quest to become a T-Fanger.
Along the way, he encounters Diabolos, who is not content with humans entering the Denjuu universe and so is killing off the Antenna Trees, thereby cutting off access to the Human World. With only one Antenna Tree in existence, that tree was the only entrance left from the human’s world to the Denjuu’s world. The player, naturally, must stop him before he is stuck in the world forever.
Telefang are electric beasts that are competing for their own strength in a battle called “Telefang”. Telefang will be done up to 3 on 3. It is advantageous to have many friends. There are 200 types of electric beasts with different appearances and personalities! Most of the popular Denju from the previous work “Keitai Denju Telefang” are made up of new characters! Gameplay is similar to the original pair of Telefang games, but with some added enhancements.
Several new Denjū are available, and many old ones now have different evolution methods. Attacks now receive their own typing independent of the Denjū, meaning a monster with the right move can cover its own weaknesses in battle. New types of items are also introduced, including healing items and ones that increase the chance of a defeated Denjū sharing its phone number with Kyou. Lastly, befriended Denjū have their own friends, which may randomly appear to assist in battle even if Kyou has never met them before.
