Changelog

V2.11

  • The +1 is Mending Mode as requested by Benfrosh. It’s beyond my ability to implement, but not for Retina, who did the thing for me! Cheers.
  • I straight up forgot to insert Helisent’s new portrait. Sorry, Basilica.
  • Tower’s promoted class used the generic palette for the past year. It’s a similar colour scheme as the generic palette, so I guess it was very hard to notice.
  • Same for Locust‘s rogue palette
  • Dazzledart not gaining promoted exp after promotion
  • Item text overflow such as brave/arcane bow text overflow
  • IMPORTANT BUG FIX: Tower says Albatross point is on their left when it’s clearly on their right on the map!
  • Poor Berd had two bugs that prevented his happy ending
  • Licorice now works on ch25, greens no longer get cloned
  • Black screen for world map problem should be fixed
  • Ch3 wyvern should no longer have a bizarre interaction with the greens sometimes
  • Many typos n stuff, keep them coming!

V2.0

  • New Portraits
  • New Birds
  • Added two brave souls to fulfil the much-needed role as late-game bruisers.
  • Revamped Several Unit Kits
  • Locktouch and keys no longer exist. Simply use your hands.
  • A new optional mode, Manster Mode! To satisfy those hoarding urges.
  • 0% and 100% growths have been merged into a single rom instead the previous jank solution.
  • Added chapter numbers to quest entries
  • About the exp cap past turn 13, I did hear about how some people think it should stay. It’s here in a nerfed form, can be toggled on/off.
  • Changed some chapter objectives to reduce the amount of escalating timers, such as in ch1, 5, 7, 9, 14 and 20.
  • Prep shop now updates past ch14x.
  • No more low% crit in 20x. Heavybread is no longer garbage.
  • Anna now appears in 26x-1 for magic sword access.
  • About 90 more battle quotes so everyone gets some. Even Helisent… once.
  • Significant rewrites to chapters 1-10 to improve narrative flow (Chapter 4 to 5 transition, for example!) and to keep consistent with the later direction.
  • Rewrites to some stuff like endings and a lot of I don’t remember.
  • Try to iron out typos and making use of smile frames across the whole script (or in Mince’s case, frowning frames).

V1.12

  • Oren now looks the part of the dashing hero people say he is.
  • Nerysa was also touched up by Levin. Great stuff.
  • Vlak made an updated version of Lindros! My man looks as nerdy as ever.
  • Alguien made an mug for Piquerato. Now players can be even more baited into thinking she might be recruitable! (Splicing credit to Backer, Busk and Garytop)
  • Archerbias made a new track with a similar motif to certain existing tracks. It’s epic.
  • Updated Guard portrait, used Madzz’s mini suggestion.
  • Fixed a bunch of bugs.
  • Tried to better clarify some confusing objectives like c8, c17, and c18.
  • Most notably, the boss in C22 has been pretty significantly nerfed.
