Description

Many of us know the classic story: a young trainer, a first Pokémon, and an adventure through Kanto to complete the Pokédex, defeat the gym leaders, and achieve glory in the Pokémon League. A predictable story that has been told thousands of times and always tends to the same… or so it seemed. But something has changed… Due to an anomaly, caused by a curse, a glitch in reality or perhaps the capricious will of the universe itself, the protagonist has been trapped in a strange, endless cycle.

Every time the journey begins, everything resets. The world, the routes, the rivals… everything remains the same as we knew it. Everything… except the Pokémon. From now on, the protagonist can only count on a single creature to travel all of Kanto. Each attempt will be a new destiny, a new challenge written by chance. Will you be able to complete all the loops… or will this anomaly defeat you?

Features

You’ll relive the story of Pokémon Blue once again, familiar but with a different challenge each time:

  • Upon heading to Oak’s Lab, you’ll access a single Poké Ball, which will contain a random Pokémon that you’ll play with as your sole partner for the entire match. This Pokémon will be level 5 and can be any of the first 151 Pokémon … plus an additional hidden Pokémon .
  • Poké Balls, captures, and gift Pokémon have been disabled in this edition.
  • Evolutions have also been disabled for all Pokémon except for these: Magikarp, Caterpie, Metapod, Weedle, Kakuna.
  • In order to improve the gameplay experience and even offer the option to increase the difficulty, a series of additional improvements and new items have been included.
  • Increased reading speed: Slow speed will now be as fast as Normal; Normal speed will be as fast as Fast; and Fast speed will make text appear instantly.
  • Increased movement speed: You will move much faster when pressing the B button while walking or cycling, and you will also move more quickly through water.
  • Automatic item sorting: When you open your backpack and see the list of items, you can reorder them by pressing the “Start” button.
  • Initial Inheritance: You will receive a small Welcome Kit that is the signature of this hack, consisting of a batch of Rare Candies and two new items, the PokéFilter and the Peace Treaty, which I will provide more information about in another section.
  • Increased Backpack Storage: Inventory space has been increased from 20 to 50 items.
  • Progression Boosts: You’ll have a batch of Rare Candies to speed up your leveling, and the TM Self-Destruct has been replaced with a new TM, Struggle, and all Pokémon that lack direct damage attacks to begin with will be able to use it.

New Features

PokéFilter Items: Activating this electronic device will prevent wild Pokémon from appearing again. The item can be deactivated again to re-enable wild Pokémon encounters.

  • Location: PC (welcome item).

Peace Treaty: By carrying this quaint item, no ordinary trainer will challenge you to a battle if they see you, unless you take the initiative. This is the ideal item for those who want to avoid countless filler battles and get straight to the action: being a lower level, the battles will be much more difficult.

  • Location: PC (welcome item).

Portable Heal Machine : Using this portable device will instantly heal your Pokémon. However, be careful, as it won’t work against the Elite Four.

  • Location: Pokémon Center Receptionist.

LED Sparkler: Using this item will release a light that will illuminate even the darkest caves, ideal if you want to explore the Rock Tunnel.

  • Location: Route 2, given to you by Professor Oak’s assistant.

Lawn Mower: Using this item, you can cut any bush.

  • Location: SS ANNE, given to you by the ship’s captain.

Bill’s Plane: With this unique Pokémorphic item, you can fly to any town or city you’ve previously visited.

  • Location: Silver City Museum, hidden door behind bush.

Bill’s Ship: With this peculiar Pokémorphic object, you can sail through the water.

  • Location: Safari Zone, given to you by the character found in the secret house.

Other changes

The following objects have been relocated or removed:

  • HM01 (Cut, Cut): Given to you by the President of Silph (replaces the Master Ball).
  • HM03 (Surf): Located in the Safari Zone, replaces the Gold Teeth.
  • HM05 (Flash): replaced by the LED Flare.
  • Master Ball: replaced by HM01.
  • Gold Teeth: Given to you by an assistant in Siph (replaces the delivery from Lapras).
  • TM36: Instead of Self-Destruct, it now teaches Struggle, in addition to its usual location, and is also given to you by the Route 1 shopkeeper.
  • Old Amber: Replaced by Bill’s Plane.
  • All elemental stones have been removed , except for the Moon Stone, although it has no use.
  • All but two types of Poké Balls have also been removed . The only two remaining types, the Poké Ball and Safari Ball, have been reprogrammed to fail if accessed through cheats.

Additionally, the following series of changes have been made:

  • Victoria Road has been modified so that it is now possible to travel to the end without having to use HM04 (Strength).
  • secret Pokémon is included in the roster—discover it in-game! (Or with a spoiler, if applicable.)
  • Blaine’s design has been reverted to its original design (this is a nod to the anime and the original concept for Pokémon Red and Green).

Known issues

  • While you’re likely to find MissingNo. as a random spawn option, this glitch is only graphical, and if you choose it, you’ll receive Rhydon instead (a nod to what used to happen when you caught MissingNo. on some occasions).
