Description

Pokemon Yellow-ified Leafgreen is a quick little mod with only minor changes. Designed for me personally to replay vanilla leafgreen without hating myself. At the moment, I’ve done up to the end of Cerulean, and everything else is untouched.

Features

  • Rival now uses Pichu or Eevee (whatever you didn’t pick).
  • trainers tend to be at the same level, but if their Pokémon should have evolved, they have done so. They also have more variety, and some use Hoenn or Johto Mons.
  • Boss battles are much tougher.
  • A new trainer type, Rocket Trio, to simulate Jessie and James.
  • All Pokémon will be available — in Kanto, only Kanto Pokémon can be found. — In Sevii Isles, Johto Pokémon can be found. — takes inspiration from Let’s Go and Yellow for encounter tables. All Pokémon are available in the game. Signs on routes tell you what Pokémon can be found in the area.
  • Starters and babies have a 255 catch rate
  • Badge boosts are disabled because fuck that.
  • Move tutors are reusable
  • TMs will be available in marts
  • Items like balls are much cheaper,
  • Rare candies and elixirs are available in marts.
