The goal of this hack is to enhance the original Fire Red games by bringing in Pokemon, moves, sprites, mechanics, types, and items that were introduced in later games. You are a 10-year-old kid from Pallet Town, about to begin your Pokémon journey just like many trainers before you. Professor Oak is ready, and your starter is waiting. Everything feels normal, at least at first. But something is off. On your way through Route 1, you don’t just see Pidgey and Rattata. You see something else. A Sentret.
At first, people brush it off. But then, more reports start coming in. Hoothoot in Viridian Forest. Mareep near Route 3. Even strange new evolutions are appearing where they shouldn’t. Kanto’s ecosystem is changing. Not slowly, not naturally. Wild Pokémon from nearby regions, which are Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, are appearing everywhere. Routes are the same but feel unfamiliar. Caves are just as dark but feel different. Even veteran trainers are confused. Professor Oak isn’t taking this lightly. He mentions a “population shift” phenomenon.
Something is disrupting the natural distribution of Pokémon. But he doesn’t know why. As you travel across Kanto, you meet some people in black outfits, calling themselves Team Rocket. Rumors start to spread that Rocket is experimenting on Pokémon migration. Or worse, controlling something that influences Pokémon behavior. However, no one has proof. As a new trainer, you’re not just collecting badges anymore. You are witnessing a region in crisis. And you’re right at the center of it. Will you uncover the truth behind the population shift?
