Changelog

V1.2.0

  • All Pokemon in the Kulure Dex have had level up movesets have been bumped to gen 8 for easier planning

    • Egg moves, TM/HM compatibility, and Tutor Compatibility is unchanged

    • Your existing teams are fine as is! If a Pokemon no longer learns a move, you can continue to use it if it is currently in your 4 move list

  • A second options page (accessible by pressing L / R) lets you change some highly requested features:

    • Ability to auto sort the bag

    • Ability to change your difficulty setting

    • Ability to change your level cap choice

    • Ability to skip story cutscenes

  • Added 999 Rare Candies for Nuzlockers (using these are not recommended for regular play!) These can be found by interacting with your mailbox in Anthra Town 5 times. They’ll be silently added to your inventory

  • Morning/Day and Evening/Night are now considered equivalent for evolutions, with the exception of Lycanroc-Dusk, making it easier to evolve certain Pokemon

  • Fast text speed and Stereo sound are set by default when starting a new game

  • Lots of bug fixes, including the infamous bad egg bug and strange champion issues

    • If your postgame NPCs are missing, enter the hall of fame again to restore them

    • Important: I’m not 100% what causes the champion issue to occur so I’ve put some preventative measures into Victory Road & the Hall of Fame sequence to try and repair the game

V1.1.5

Significant Changes

  • Updated the title screen to include creator & version info. Copyright screen’s project dates are updated as well.
  • Added Lum berries to the Tsarvosa City Market berry shop
  • Added the ability to buy evolution items (Linking Cord, King’s Rock, Razor Claw, Dragon Scale, and Reaper Cloth) to a Tsarvosa City Market seller. Their old inventory moved to the bitter herbs seller. The price of King’s Rock is increased to $3000 to match similar items.
  • Added the ability to buy Everstones and Destiny Knots from Daimyn City Mall’s evolution stone seller
  • Adjusted part of Route 18’s map so the player couldn’t walk on invalid tiles
  • Decreased the encounter rate in Rubarr Desert from 3 to 1 (the minimum) to make it more enjoyable to explore. The DexNav is received shortly after so the ability to find Pokemon isn’t impacted significantly

Bug Fixes

  • Added an automatic patch to fix hard level caps in historic saves
  • Adusted Ultra Space researcher fix to be more broad – now checks if player has finished Carnelidge Volcano story events, because players can return before postgame

  • Fixed a bug that prevented the player’s starter from always obeying (fix applies to new games only)
  • Fixed a few grammatical errors in dialogue
  • Fixed Low-Key Toxtricity being unable to mega evolve
  • Fixed Jirachi being infinitely catchable. With this change, the way legendaries that have post-defeat cutscenes attached to them have been updated to be consistent with each other
