Pokemon Fire Red Worst Luck ROM

Pokemon Fire Red Worst Luck is a simple modification to FRLG that makes every RNG-related battle scenario have the worst possible outcome for the player.

Examples

• Enemy will always hit max roll crits. Enemy will always get secondary move effects. Player will always miss if a move is not guaranteed to hit, etc.
• This romhack also includes a lot of QoL NPCs throughout the region that will grant you various items, such as infinite Rare Candies, Max Repels, Full Restores, or thiefable items.

Both of these additions were made with the goal of removing the necessity of using a PkHex to beat this hack. I played this as a hardcore nuzlocke, beating it on attempt 5. To me, this was like a big, fun puzzle, trying to find riskless strats for fights which would be trivial in vanilla frlg. Something like this was already made before (look at Smallants ‘ video); however, none of these hacks were really nuzlockable due to EVs, so I made this as a fun little challenge for myself. After beating it, I decided that maybe some of you might enjoy playing it as much as I did, so I decided to release it.
