Normally, you can’t even teach Pikachu that move. So this rom hack makes it accessible right from the start. As in, you start the game and walk through a door, and BOOM, you’re inside the summer beach house.

Here’s how to play the minigame: It plays similarly to Excite Bike on the NES. You control Pikachu as he surfs across the ocean. The goal is to score as many points as possible by performing tricks and maintaining speed. Pikachu can perform mid-air flips off waves for extra points. The better you time your jumps and landings, the higher your score.
