Description

Pokemon Red++ Kaizo offers a much harder version of Red++, providing a tougher challenge for veteran players while keeping some quality-of-life features to enhance gameplay. The game is complete, following the same story and post-game as the original Red++, but with ramped-up difficulty to truly test your skills. Here’s what’s new:

• Portable PC: Access your PC anytime, anywhere.
• Pokédex Learnsets: View Pokémon’s learnsets, including TM/HM and evolution learnsets, directly in the Pokédex.
• Detailed Stats: Check a Pokémon’s DV and EV stats by holding Start or Select when viewing its stats.
• Level Caps: Each Gym Leader has level caps to prevent overleveling.
• No Items in Battle: Makes fights more strategic and challenging.
• Harder Trainer Battles: Trainers and Gym Leaders are significantly stronger, with unique moves and even shiny Pokémon.
• Rare Candies: Buy Rare Candies for only $1 at the Plateau Lobby after beating the Elite Four the first time.
• TMs for Sale: Purchase all TMs throughout the game, offering more flexibility in team-building.
• Challenging Gameplay: Battles have been rebalanced to provide a Kaizo-level experience.

Known Bugs

• Some Pokémon show moves in their learnsets that they can’t actually learn (e.g., Bulbasaur learning Gust). This is due to Move Tutor mechanics, and unfortunately, there’s no workaround for this issue.
