Classic NES Series: Super Mario Bros. is a Game Boy Advance video game released in 2004. It is a port of the Nintendo Entertainment System classic Super Mario Bros. While people can play Super Mario Bros. on the GBA in the form of Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, a much more impressive remake of the game that was released on the Game Boy Color five years prior to this game, this is the only chance that players can play the game on the original Nintendo DS and DS Lite.
Also, when this game was released, Deluxe was no longer available and thus this was an option for those who had never owned it. While the game was released in 2004, a reprint of the Japanese version (Famicom Mini: Super Mario Bros.) was released on September 14, 2005 to coincide with the game’s 20th anniversary and with the release of the Game Boy Micro. While the game remains almost unmodified, the most significant thing they kept was the Minus World glitch.
