Dungeons and Dragons - Eye of the Beholder ROM

dungeons and dragons eye of the beholder rom
When focusing on the main objectives, Dungeons and Dragons - Eye of the Beholder is about 10½ Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 2 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Eye of the Beholder does a great job streamlining the game mechanics found in the genre and offers a more real-time experience rather than turn-based.

There isn't much strategy, you need to reach a Healer. Then to revive a character, you just need to talk to the healer with a live person, and then you have to press R (or L) to choose the character that needs reviving.

You need to download and install Visual Boy Advance and then load the rom.

Additional Information

Dungeons & Dragons – Eye of the Beholder is a video game released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by American studio Pronto Games and published by Infogrames. It is an adaptation of the 1991 game of the same name. The once peaceful city of Waterdeep now suffers from raids every night by the Undermountain factions, who have somehow become reunited and organized.

The raiders are led by Xanathar’s Guild, who have returned to take over Waterdeep. Lacking in manpower from the city Watch, the leading Lord of Waterdeep, Piergeiron the Paladinson summons a group of adventurers to investigate the city sewers, uncover the evil entity and if possible destroy it. The game uses a stripped-down version of the 3rd edition D&D rules” with only four basic character classes and several traits, feats and skills. It is not a port of the original game, though it possesses roughly the same plot. It bears stronger resemblance to the original Gold Box games, such as Pool of Radiance.

Navigating through the dungeons is done in first-person mode, where the characters can make use of their skills to get through difficulties and have very limited use of spells. When an enemy is encountered, the game mode switches to an isometric topdown view, where the player does turn-based combat against monsters. Killing all enemies ends the combat mode. In some places, the player can recruit up to two additional characters, gather information and buy or sell items. Using items requires the player to equip them in a menu-driven inventory system.
