Flashback Legends ROM

Flashback Legends is an Action Platformer game, developed by Adeline Software and published by Delphine Software International. The prototype was released on June 21, 2002. It was translated into English by VanishedOne. Flashback Legends was to be the third in the Flashback series, but it was left incomplete when Delphine went bankrupt in 2002. A prototype ROM image was later leaked, with all language options producing French dialogue (and menus and item names in English). This patch lets the ‘English’ option on the language selection screen actually produce English dialogue.

 

Owing to the glitchy and incomplete state of the prototype, the game cannot be played through to the end; consequently there is no sense in which the patch could be ‘fully tested’. Insofar as Flashback Legends can be played through, however, this patch will let you play through it in English. Flashback Legend is the unreleased sequel to Fade To Black, itself the sequel to Flashback: The Quest for Identity. The Morphs are at it again, and that elevator- and jump-loving guy Conrad is the only one who can stop them…by following orders without question, searching cards and cells, and sometimes even directly charging into enemies.
