5 years ago, Lugia was controlled by a dark mage turning him into Dark Lugia. The only pokemon that can stop him is Gold’s ho-oh. However, Gold won’t be fast enough to reach Hoenn because he is exploring Kanto at that time, so Brendan and Anabel have to stop this event from happening, when Brendan is gone, Team Leaders Magma and Aqua -Archie, and Maxie start to make trouble.
This time, Maxi and Archie manage to awaken Groudon and Kyogre properly. Maxie wants the fire cave while Archie wants the water cave located north of Johto. It’s also where Dark Lugia was living. Brendan and Anabel tried to stop Lugia. However, they have to face off in the Lake of Rage and navigate the grass cave. Gold’s Ho-oh confronted DarkLugia. The battle also affected Groudon and Kyogre which caused them to lose control of their power.
Magma and water filled the air. Combining power with an explosion, it formed a new munder region. The first person to set foot in this new region was the father of the great champion. There is a lot of peace in this region. There are no evil teams, 2 years after the coach became champion, you decided to beat him. This is when your adventure begins.
