10 years ago, for the first time in the Novocoyan region, 2 trainers managed to get 8 gym badges, and between the 2 of them they were going to dispute the title of first champion of Novocoyan, but at the time of the confrontation, one of them did not show up to the fight, resulting in a bitter victory by default, a fact that greatly disappointed the inhabitants of the region, who expected to see for the first time a first-class meeting of local trainers.

10 years later, a new generation of trainers prepares to take on the challenge of the gyms again, but these days strange lights are seen from the sky, and some trainers begin to use creatures in combat that in their words are not Pokémon.
