Future plans

Once I have gotten the game into a completable state from start to finish with as few bugs as possible, I plan on doing the following;
– Adding in Gen 5 Pokémon.
– Adding a Nuzlocke mode into the game.
– After finding a script hidden in game for dive spots, I’m thinking I may add in some post-game shortcuts for certain areas (for example a direct route from Goldenrod to Olivine via route 34) and will be using them to facilitate access to gen 3 (and maybe gen 4 also) legendaries

  • Prof Elm’s Aide now gives you a pre-hatched Togepi instead of an Egg. This is part of my efforts to remove the usage of eggs from the game altogether
  • The Day-Care man now gives you a random Pokémon instead of an Egg. The selection now has Munchlax as a possibility instead of Tyrogue (since you get a Gift one earlier in the game)
  • Fixed issue causing Eggs to crash at the summary screen.

March 30, 2024

  • Fixed a small section of Mr. Pokémon’s text not decapping properly.
  • Upped the amount of Pokéballs obtained from the item on the table in Mr Pokémons house from 1 to 3
  • Whenever Prof. Elm calls you now, it will play the iPhone ringtone instead of a random sound
  • Removed “Sticky Web” from Caterpie/Metapod and evos movesets.
  • Weedle has had “Poison Sting” replaced with “Poison Tail”
  • Beedrill now learns Fury Attack also at level 10 (instead of being learned via Move Reminder only)
  • updated a couple of early bug trainer movesets (mostly to remove sticky web from their use-sets)
  • Replaced “Sticky Web” with “Spider Web on Kricketune’s moveset
  • Added ball throwing animation for Cherish Ball
  • Edited around 100 Pokémon in the Level 50 section of the battle tower, to various degrees
  • Changed natures of traded Onix and Mareep. they will now have more competitive natures
