Pokemon Dark Rising is a ROM hack of Pokémon Fire Red. The game takes place in the Core region, you begin the game not by speaking to Prof. Oak, but Arceus! Arceus reveals you to be The Chosen One that must save him and the Pokémon world from an ancient evil.
Feebas evolves into Milotic at level 30.
Boldore evolves into Gigalith at level 40.
Arceus is not available to be caught in Pokémon Dark Rising.

The story starts with a dream. A Pokemon appears out of nowhere and chooses you, a young boy/girl, to save not only it but the entire world.
You wake up with questions in your head. You step out of your hometown of Fells in the Core Region, deciding to ignore the dream for the time being. Your best friend, who had the same dream as you, approaches you at the front door and informs you of an emergency message from the town’s Professor. When you meet the professor, he quickly informs you of the disasters and climate changes that are taking place throughout the Core Region. His employees are in a panic, so he asks you to go to the delivery station and pick up a package from Prof. Oak for him.
As you set out on this simple task, you come across a mysterious girl who appears to be aware of your dream about a creature named Darugis. After receiving the package, a powerful Pokemon appears in front of you and your friend, Pete. You quickly engage in a battle with it, eager to put your early skills to the test against a powerful Pokemon. The pokemon uses its powerful winds to easily defeat your Pokemon and knock you out. After waking up in your room, you notice Pete and your mother waiting patiently for your recovery. You quickly realise that this is just the beginning of a journey full of mysteries and powerful Pokemon that you can’t wait to challenge.
