Pokemon Dreams ROM

Pokemon Dreams rom
When focusing on the main objectives, Pokemon Dreams is about 10 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 30 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Pokemon Dreams is a hack that takes place in a new region and tells a new story. The main character, a traveling trainer, arrives in the Solda region. They meet a boy in the small community of Thicket Town who aspires to be like his brother, the local gym leader.

This is their journey through the region as they meet new characters and strive to become members of the Pokémon League.

This hack was created with a focus on characters and worldbuilding in mind. Despite the fact that it tells a linear story, the map is peppered with optional areas containing useful items and Pokémon to encourage exploration.

You get HM03 Surf after beating Lorson of the Solaview Port Gym.

Cobra, The leader of Team Coil asks you to join their cause. Whether you want to or not, you can’t even though she asks (I tried!). After refusing her offer, she challenges you to a battle.

You can download the Pokemon Dreams rom from this page and to play the game you need to download the Visualboy Advance Emulator here.

Changelog

V1.5.1

  • Removed glitch where opening cutscene could sometimes warp player to the SS Libra. Now, you have to press the A to start the cutscene, and can even pause and open the menu first if you want. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a more elegant fix to work… But hopefully the trade-off is worth it.
  • Meltan gets Gyro Ball by TM and Melmetal gets Gyro Ball and Iron Head by TM
  • Fixed mistake where Mega Charcold appeared instead of Algellie as an underwater encounter on Route 22
  • Fixed mistake where Ditto could be caught holding a dummy item
  • Fixed tile error in Submerged Cavern
  • Fixed collision error on Route 19
  • Fixed typo in Route 23 Pokemon Center

  • Fixed incorrect EV yields for Machop, Sneasel, Swinub, Boldore, Cubchoo, Magearna, Mega Sableye, Mega Mawile, Mega Camerupt, and Mega Lopunny
  • Fixed a small tile error in Pokemon Ranch

V1.4

  • Fixed issue where Coil Peon Andrei’s Medicham in Ruby Tower used moves Medicham doesn’t learn
  • Fixed bug where Clamperl couldn’t evolve. Now it evolves by leveling up while holding either Deep Sea item
