Description

Pokemon Emerald Base Plus is a QOL hack of Pokemon Emerald. None of the fights nor the story has been altered in any way. This is meant to be a streamlined way of playing Emerald, with tons of features to make actually playing the game the main focus.

Features

  • A portable PC (can access the PC anywhere through the key item)
  • Endless candy (lets you use rare candies infinitely whilst obeying level caps)
  • Insta healing key item (think of it as a portable pokemon center)
  • Endless repel key item (repels wild pokemon indefinitely until turned off)
  • Level caps (Follows Gym leaders and Drake’s highest leveled Pokemon)
  • An EVless mode (choice at the beginning of the game, and is a permanent choice for the save file)
  • Enhanced summary screen with natures having respective colours
  • View IVs through the summary screen (pressing A on the stats screen displays the IVs of the current Pokemon)
  • Quick use items; you can spam use items on Pokemon. As long as you have more of the item in your bag, you won’t be kicked out of the party menu screen
  • Faster fishing (guaranteed encounter after the first round of dots appear on the screen)
  • Patch guy NPC – Interacting with this NPC (in prof. Birch’s lab) ensures your key items match what the patch expects. He also let’s you set your EV, TM, and berry mode.

  • No HM slaves needed! You can use HMs as field moves freely after earning their respective bage
  • To add to this, the speed at which field moves are used is vastly improved
  • Status condition item – lets you apply any status to your selected mon
  • Luminated caves – going back to the no HM slaves point; after beating Brawly, all caves are lit at max brightness
