Pokemon FireRed ω ROM

Pokemon FireRed ω (Lowercase Omega) is a romhack of Drayano’s FireRed Omega in the typical LittleLocke ROM hack style; evolutions have been removed, and only fully unevolved Pokémon (and weak single-stage Pokémon) can be obtained.

Though I made this game primarily with nuzlocking in mind, I tried to update all of each new Pokémon’s stats – even the typically nuzlocke-irrelevant ones like growth rate. I also left the egg groups of the baby Pokémon (Mantyke, Munchlax, Bonsly, etc.) alone so that they will still be breedable.

• EV yields have been removed.
• I left Vitamins around the map (not in shops though). You can see their locations in the Vitamins tab in the Items document.
• Set every Pokémon’s catch rate to 200.
• Set every Pokémon’s base happiness to 255 (max).
• Modified wild held items to maintain thiefable items.
• Changed gift Pokémon:

  • The Treecko gift NPC on Route 2 has been changed to give you a random water starter (generation 1-9).

  • The Chikorita gift NPC in Underground Path has been changed to give you a random grass starter (generation 1-9).

  • The Squirtle gift NPC in Vermilion City has been changed to give you a random fire starter (generation 1-9).

• Made each starter’s second ability their hidden ability (if it exists in Generation 3) (this can be seen in this document)
• Made most generic Pokémart items and berries ¥1.
