While the Professor Oak Edition may not be a tale of a great overcoming the impossible and becoming the best, it is hilarious, relaxing, and mentally calming. The plot of FR Remastered is nothing special, but it is really fun to play as the one and only Prof. Oak. Take the movie Casino, and the series Breaking Bad, and combine them. Because Professor Oak, who thinks he’s doing fieldwork, gets himself into BIG trouble. The Rockets start a scandal throughout Kanto.

 

After the big bust in Hoenn months ago, the Rockets became infamous yet again. And the cartel ain’t forgivin’! Giovanni, the mastermind of Logos abuses the crisis to start a drug operation and profit. And while he’s at it, he even tries to exploit the Pokédex to control the civilians of Kanto. The Rockets want control of Kanto, of the Drug Trade, and, the money. Oak wants many answers, but those answers come at a cost. Whether it be his job, his life, his rep, his family, or anything else…
