Description

This hack follows the same story as Pokémon FireRed. However, as you play it, you’ll have the worst luck you can possibly imagine. Everything from critical hits to the rate you’ll be receiving eggs from the Day Care has been altered to be against your favor.

Features

  • In Battle: (All the effects mentioned here are reversed when an ally is targeted.)
    • Critical hits: You will never land a critical hit, your opponent will always land critical hits.
    • Damage Range: You will always get the lowest rolls, while your opponent will always get the highest rolls.
    • Accuracy: If the final accuracy (move accuracy, accuracy/evasion drops/boosts, Brightpowder, Sand Veil, etc factored in.) is less than 100%, you will miss, your opponent will never miss.
    • Secondary Effects: If your opponent uses Ember, for example, it will always cause a burn. You will never trigger any secondary effects.
    • Poké Balls: If the chance of catching a Pokémon is not 100%, the odds of every successful Poké Ball shake are halved. This is because it would be impossible to catch Pokémon before Brock otherwise, which would make Charmander impossible to pick.
    • Sleep: When put to sleep, your Pokémon will sleep for five turns, while the opponent will only sleep for two turns.
    • Paralyze: If you get paralyzed, you will never be able to move. Your opponent will never get fully paralyzed.
    • Freeze: If you get frozen solid, you will never defrost. Your opponent defrosts immediately.
    • Confusion: You will always hit yourself in confusion for max damage and stay confused for the maximum amount of turns, while your opponent never hits themselves in confusion and snaps out after the minimum amount of turns.
    • Infatuation: You will never be able to move when you are infatuated, but your opponent will always be able to move.
    • Speed ties: You will always lose speed ties.
    • Fleeing: You can’t flee if your speed is lower than the opponent.
    • Disobedience: Your Pokémon will always hit themselves in confusion when they’re disobedient.
    • Contact Abilities: Static, Flame Body, Poison Point, Cute Charm, and Effect Spore will always activate for your opponent, but never for you. Effect Spore will never affect you with a status that you’re immune to.
    • Shed Skin: Shed Skin will always activate for your opponent, but never for you.
    • Disable/Encore/Trapping Moves (Like Bind or Fire Spin)/Thrash Moves: These will last the minimum amount of turns when you use them and the maximum amount of turns when your opponent uses them.
    • Multi-hit moves: Multi-hit moves will always hit twice when used by you and five times when used by the opponent.
    • Metronome: Metronome has normal effects when your opponent uses it, but it will turn into Splash when you use it.
    • Tri Attack: Tri Attack will randomly cause a freeze, paralyze or burn status effect when used by the opponent. It will never affect you with a status that you’re immune to.
    • Magnitude: When Magnitude is used, it will be a 4 if it was used by you and a 10 if it was used by the opponent.
    • Present: When used on the opponent, Present will recover their HP. When used on you, it will have max base power.
    • Psywave: Psywave will do maximum damage against you and minimum damage against your opponent.
    • Protect/Detect/Endure: You will never be able to use these moves twice in a row, while the opponent can use them without fail.
    • Spite: Spite will reduce opponents’ PP by 2 when used by you and your PP by 5 when used by the opponent.
    • Items: Quick Claw, Focus Band, and King’s Rock will always activate for the opponent, but never for you.

    Outside of battle:

    • Illuminate/Stench/Cleanse Tag/Pickup: These have no effect.
    • Day Care: You won’t be able to receive eggs from the daycare.
    • Individual Values: All Pokémon you obtain will have an IV of 0 in every stat.
    • Slot Machines: Slot Machines will always have the lowest chance of payout.
    • Shiny Pokémon: Shiny Pokémon cannot be found.

Also, the following changes, unrelated to the RNG, has been made.

    • Tackle has been set to 100% accuracy since the early game would be impossible for Bulbasaur or Squirtle otherwise.
    • Pokémon exclusive to Leafgreen can now be found in the wild. This is just to make the hack more version-neutral.
