Pokemon Gold ROM

Pokemon - Gold Version rom
When focusing on the main objectives, Pokemon Gold is about 25 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 40 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Jolteon evolves with a Thunder Stone in Pokemon Gold. Get them from Bill's grandpa in Cerulean cape above Cerulean City. He will ask you to show him Pichu and when you show him that Pokemon he will give you the Thunder Stone.

The only way to get Mew and Mewtwo onto the virtual console versions of Pokemon Gold is to trade them from the Virtual Console Red, Blue or Yellow (Catching Mew via the long-range trainer glitch and Mewtwo via Cerulean cave)

Unless you have a cheat device you need to use the Time machine and trade with Pokemon Red, Blue or Yellow I would recommend trading with Pokemon Yellow because it gets all three of the Pokemon you want.

You can download the Pokemon Gold rom from this page and to play the game you need to download the Visualboy Advance Emulator here.

Pokémon Gold Version (Japanese: Pocket Monsters: Gold) and Pokémon Silver Version (Pocket Monsters: Silver) were the first core series games of Generation II for the Game Boy Color. The games introduce 100 new species of Pokémon and follow the progress of the player character in their quest to master Pokémon battling. Both games are independent of each other but feature largely the same plot and, while both can be played separately.

It is necessary to trade between these games and their predecessors in order to fully complete each games’ Pokédex. The Johto Saga of the Pokémon anime is based on the new region introduced in the games. Like previous installments, Pokémon Gold and Silver are played from a third-person, top-down perspective, with players directly navigating the protagonist around the fictional universe, interacting with objects and people.

As the player explores this world, they will encounter different terrains, such as grassy fields, forests, caves, and seas in which different Pokémon species reside. As the player randomly encounters one of these creatures, the field switches to a turn-based “battle scene”, where the Pokémon will fight. Pokémon Gold and Silver are set in the region of Johto, situated to the west of the Kanto region from the previous Red and Blue games, and three years after the conclusion of the previous games.

The design of Johto was inspired by Japan’s Kansai and Tōkai regions, with many of the region’s temples and more traditional Japanese aesthetics finding their way into Johto. The locations in the game within Johto include New Bark Town, Cherrygrove City, Violet City, Azalea Town, Goldenrod City, Ecruteak City, Olivine City, Cianwood City, Mahogany Town, and Blackthorn City. Most of the cities have one gym leader each, which serves as a boss, as do some of the towns.
