Description

A parallel universe where Rayquaza failed to stop Groudon and Kyogre, which caused a natural collapse in Hoenn… After long years of natural destruction, the entire Hoenn region was practically devastated, the era of trainers/poke balls ended, the pokémon became wild animals, and the nomadic people were trying to survive…

After years, the plot is the millennium comet (Jirachi) and Celebi (time traveler), giving the player an opportunity to go back in time and prevent this disaster from happening… With the return in time, some things from Hoenn destroyed for 1000 years affect the “normal” Hoenn of the past, generating new forms of Pokémon, new characters, new villains, gym leaders, etc…

Features

  • Follower Overworld Pokemon
  • Skip prologue (if you don’t want to play the story-based intro)
  • Prologue quest where you play in the “future” of the destroyed Hoenn to interact with Jirachi and Celebi and try to go back in time to avoid the disaster
  • New game mechanics, Fairy type, reasonable TM’s, physical/special split, etc.
  • Hold Select + B to turn on/off auto run so you don’t need to hold B
  • Balanced old Pokemon that won’t get new forms
  • Improved sprites for Pokemon that won’t get new forms
  • Infinite rare candies to avoid grinding and the level cap so you can’t overlevel with the candies
  • Lots of new Pokemon sprites, including all three starters and their respective evolutions. The sprites are all done and already working in the ROM.
  • The first gym leader is a new Roxanne. TERRA: She is a rock-climbing girl with dark skin, and her ace is Wish Form – Nosepass (Rock/Psychic).
  • All Pokémon will have improved two-framed front animations.
  • ALL of the project is on remote GIT to help teamwork

Changelog

V0.4.7

  • The Mauville Game Corner has been completely overhauled.
  • Nine new minigames are now available inside: Gacha Machine, Blackjack, Snake, Voltorb Flip, Flappy Bird, Plinko, Mauville Derby, Pinball, and Zamagotchi all accessible directly from the machines on the floor.
  • A new custom NPC system has been added featuring unique trades and curated lists of special Pokémon and items exclusive to the Game Corner.
  • Coins can now be exchanged back into in-game money at the counter, reflecting how real arcades work.
  • The Pickup ability now displays a short message at the end of battle when your Pokémon finds an item, and the item is placed in the bag automatically.
  • Additionally, HM usage in the field no longer requires teaching the move the game now checks only whether a Pokémon in your party is capable of learning the HM. As long as you have obtained the required HM item and the corresponding Badge, any compatible Pokémon can use it without being a dedicated HM slave.

V0.4.6

  • Rebuilt the main menu with a gorgeous new look, based on the fantastic UI foundation by Archie & Mudskip.
  • Added a beautiful static background behind the UI elements.
  • Introduced a field of drifting stars (sprites) with two different sizes and a soft, pulsating glow.
  • Stars fall at different speeds, creating a subtle parallax depth effect and stay perfectly behind the UI – no more glitchy overlaps!
  • Unified the color scheme so both genders share the same palette.
  • Cleaned up the menu tileset by removing unused “Mystery Gift” and “Mystery Events” buttons.
  • The starfield system has been carried over into the Birch intro scene, now featuring Jirachi and Celebi.
  • Jirachi and Celebi now perform a dynamic, organic flight pattern – they weave in an X-shaped crossing motion before gracefully landing side by side.
  • Smooth fade transitions and hFlip direction changes enhance the cinematic feel.
  • Added a custom desert map with unique tiles, mapped by Ember.

V0.4.5

  • Added a built-in Randomizer accessible via Options
  • Difficulty Menu > RANDOMIZER (toggle ON/OFF). When enabled, randomizes both wild encounters and trainer Pokémon. Fully compatible with the existing Nuzlocke system – first encounter tracking, species ownership detection, and shiny exceptions all work correctly. Randomization is deterministic based on your Trainer ID, so the same save file always produces the same results. Works in both Normal and Hard Nuzlocke modes.
