Pokemon Let’s Go Mewtwo is a hack based on Fire Red and follows the same storyline as Generation 1 but instead of a normal starter Pokemon you start with Mewtwo. It features 1500 Pokemon that includes Fakemon and there are 2 regions to explore.
Unlike the other legendary Pokemon, you have to beat the Elite Four before you can get Mewtwo. Once you beat the Elite Four, your rival will tell you about a cave near Cerulean City. To get to Cerulean Cave, go up the bridge on the north side of the city and then Sea Skim in the water to the left. Mewtwo is level 70 so make sure you are prepared.

The plot of Pokemon Let’s Go Mewtwo follows the same storyline as Generation I, with the player beginning in Pallet Town. After meeting up with Professor Oak while trying to leave for Route 1, both the player and their rival are asked by Oak to choose a starter Pokémon, from the desk near him.
The game has a ton of features that would be enough to keep you busy, for the most part. There’s nothing wrong with simply hacking a game and not being original. It is always the overall impact of the ROM hack which is where Let’s Go Mewtwo can be advantageous and more!
