Description

This is my first time diving into the world of rom hacking, so I wanted to make something simple. Pokemon MisboRed Version keeps intact most features of Pokémon Fire Red, so it appeals to those who want to maintain the same experience as playing the base game, except for two main aspects: More difficulty and more Quality of Life changes.

Features

  • Difficulty: All Boss battles have been made more difficult (far from Kaizo level difficulty, see changes below), including team, level, item, and move-set changes.
  • Quality of Life: Various changes, but the most note-worthy include every 151 Pokémon obtainable, minor stat buffs to the weakest Pokémon, minor buff to Bug-Type in general, rare items obtained more easily (i.e., Berries and PP restoring items), all Game Corner prices are lowered, the Move Re-learner is now in Fuchsia, etc.
  • Every original 151 Pokémon is obtainable:
  • Both fossils are available at the Cinnabar Pokemon Lab.
  • Version exclusives are mostly available at their corresponding Leaf Green locations.
  • Starters are available at Indigo Plateau.
  • Mew is available somewhere near Vermillion City.
