Moemon Bonds is a Pokemon GBA Rom Hack by Fantaseed based on Pokemon Fire Red.
In Moemon Bonds you – (an amnesiac and clueless MOEMON Latios berry-picker in your teens) – were cursed by the whimsy MOEMON GODDESS. You must obey her every command in order to be free of this curse. She instructed you to embark on a moemon POACHING journey in order to stop the chosen one at all costs. However, you must also persuade and comfort the many MOEMONs, she said.
Follow in the footsteps of the white shadows. Create bonds with your MOEMON companions who you had MOENAPPED?! Discover mysteries and secrets in this modernised MOEMON world. Be the adversary, and obstruct the chosen one’s path.
What are Moemon?
Moemon are anthropomorphized pokemon, usually in the form of cosplaying girls. Moemon is a combination of the Japanese word ‘moe’ possibly meaning cute, fetish, or budding(as in growth).
The first moemon project started with Pokemon ROM hacking in which Japanese hackers replaced all the pokemon sprites in-game with chibi girls in pokemon costumes. It has since been worked on by English-speaking internet users.
