Description

Pokemon Quartz Minus is a project that revamps the sprite art and gameplay of BARO’s romhack classic: Pokémon Quartz. It is a “best as could be done” offshoot of the former Quartz DX project: using its assets, adding some new content, and fixing many bugs from the original game. Think of it like an “upper version” of the original Pokémon Quartz.

  • New sprites for all 386 of Quartz’s fakemon and most of its Trainers
  • Rebalancing of all of the fakemon stats and movesets
  • Rebalancing and national dex-izing of the game’s trainers and encounter tables to make all 386 fakemon available
  • Freshened up the overworld tilesets from Pokemon Emerald
  • A few bonus events & new content as well.
  • The original game’s script; typos and Spanglish in all, has been retained.
