Description

Hello! Pokémon ShortScyther (aka Pokémon MioPidgey) is a simple hackrom that excludes 100% accuracy moves from our pokémons, but doesn’t remove from our opponents. No more Thunderbolt, Psychic or Ice Beam for us.

Main Changes

• All 386 learnsets from Gen I to Gen III are updated and every move that didn’t have a number below 100% in accuracy is gone. In order to stay in the game, a move need to have a possibility of miss in any circumstance;
• New list of TMs. Considering some TMs are useless for us, some TMs are gone, and new moves become TMs;
• Kanto region has all 151 original pokémon. Majority of them remain in their original location. Post-game brings almost every pokémon from Gen II, and you will be able to complete 251 pokémons in you Dex if you wish;
• New items available in almost every city. From berries to type-enhancing held items to cheap vitamins, you have access to almost every single item. However, if you want to have the original FireRed experience, you can simply ignore them and pretend they don’t exist;
• Although no pokémon from Hoenn are found in this hack (with the exception of Deoxys), you can use UPRandomizer to randomize your encounters and include them.

What didn’t change?

• Our opponents have the same teams with their original movesets;
• No Physical/Special split. I’m sorry if you prefer PSS, but this hackrom is supposed to be similar to FireRed/LeafGreen, with the main exception in the moves we can learn.
