Changelog

V1.5.2

  • Fixed a bug that caused your Mom and your Rival’s Mom to appear as a small child if you placed more than 2 decorations in your room Fixed an issue that would cause the first two decorations you place in your room to bug out/not be what you placed
  • Lowered the maximum amount of decorations you can place in your room from 12 to 10 (This was needed to fix the above issues ^)
  • The Shield decorations awarded for for achieving streaks in the Battle Challenge have been changed from “Ornaments” to “Dolls”, and can now be properly placed.
  • To fix/reobtain the shields, please talk to the attendant in the Battle Challenge. (This will let you obtain multiple shields, that’s fine)
  • Fixed a bug that caused the OT and met location of a Wild Pokémon to be invalid when viewing their summary screen (this was fixed when you caught them)
  • Disabled being able to view the Markings of a Pokémon when using the “search” functionality of the Pokénav

V1.5.0

The Battle Challenge

  • The Battle Challenge is a new post-game battle facility located in the Lilycove City Contest Hall based off of the Battle Tower. In it you will select 3 Pokémon and fight against trainer with 3 random Pokémon of their own.
  • All Pokémon will have their levels reduced to lvl 50, and the opposing Trainers will have held items and Mega Stones if available for that Pokémon (including other factors & math).
  • Every 7 battles you will fight a boss trainer from the main game. On the 35th and 70th match you will obtain Ribbons and decorative shields for your achievements. Try to get a long streak going and gain some Battle Points (BP)!
  • BP can be spent on a variety of things, including: Specific Mega Stones, the Type Chart key item, Berries, Vitamins, and Move Tutors!
  • Please note: If your save before the patch is in Lilycove City, you should reload the map by entering and exiting a building or something similar.

Bug Fixes

  • When viewing another trainer’s Pokémon, it will now display their OT instead of yours and the met location is now listed as a Fateful Encounter
  • Added more failsafes for unintended encounters
  • Fixed typos
  • Fixed missing/incorrect collisions
  • Gave Goombastack the correct stat spread instead of being the same as Goomba’s
  • Changed several things in the overworld to be within the TMT2 Dex
  • Fixed replaying ||Looker|| talking to the player for the first time after every Hall of Fame entry. For saves already in post-game, either enter the Hall of Fame again or interact with ||Looker’s journal||. (Saves that have started the ||Genesect|| quest may not have this issue)
  • Fixed a bug where using a Protect-like move into Vent would cause the Vent user to remain invisible after hitting the protected mon
  • Cleaned up Pokedex information, removing mentions of unobtainable forms/evolutions/regional variants
  • Fixed caught pokemon changing species when a form-changed mon was in the replaced slot

  • Added the following Mega Evolutions to the game:
    • Mega Pidgeot (Holy Bird Bird)
    • Mega Lopunny (Fluffy Furry Freak)
    • Mega Houndoom (Dark Fire Cat)
  • Their mega stones can be obtained with 64 BP each in the post-game Battle Challenge
  • Justice Cave of Origin Mega Pidgeot -> Mega Beedrill
  • Fixed a bug that would cause the level scaling of trainers to underflow and be set to the current level cap if you started a battle under certain conditions
  • Fixed a bug that would cause trainers in Dewford Gym to freeze after defeating a trainer and sometimes leaving behind broken collision
  • Moved Sawk & Throh from evolution group 0 to 1 (they will no longer show up in the early game pool)
  • Added several Pokémon to the Evolution group 2 (random pool for between level 40 and 60)
  • Fixed a bug that would cause leading with sans to ignore Kieran’s level reducing mechanic
  • Probably fixed edge cases of summary screen displaying incorrect information about the Player’s Pokémon as if they were Pure Pokémon (Move category based on type instead of phys/special split)
  • Made the odds of trainers above level 60 having a “legendary” group Pokémon 1/4 instead of 1/3
