Changelog

V1.9.2

  • Hotfix for a crash occurring during certain major battles.
  • I introduced a new AI flag for selected trainers to improve team synergy by allowing the AI to evaluate the entire team instead of each Pokémon individually.
  • Unfortunately, this flag could sometimes return invalid values, causing the game to crash. To resolve the issue, I removed the flag.

V1.9.1

  • Changed the SaveBlock structure to support more TMs, more Bag slots (42 → 99), and more PC storage slots (30 → 99).

V1.9

  • Added several events to remove useless Key Items from the player’s Bag.
  • Unified the Old Rod, Good Rod, and Super Rod into a single Fishing Rod. Each Fishing Guru now gives the player a new bait that replicates the behavior of one of the original rods. Use the Bag to switch between unlocked baits.
  • Added Key Items as alternatives to HM moves for overworld navigation
  • Cut: Celadon City
  • Fly: Vermilion City
  • Surf: south of Fuchsia City
  • Strength: Silph Co.
  • Flash: outside the Route 10 entrance to Rock Tunnel
  • Rock Smash: Mt. Ember
  • Waterfall: entrance to Icefall Cave
  • Added individual level caps for each Elite Four member. An NPC before the Elite Four gauntlet now provides a special Rare Candy to ensure you can always match the next level cap.
  • Added level caps throughout WaveBlue’s postgame. The level cap is raised to Level 70 and later to Level 80 after each major event.
  • Added new events to better guide the player through WaveBlue’s postgame.
  • Reverted Frostbite back to Freeze to match the mechanics used in Pokémon Champions.
  • Fixed the fishing sprite while surfing.
  • Fixed an issue with Primeape’s evolution into Annihilape. It now evolves immediately after the battle in which Rage Fist is used for the 20th time, instead of waiting until the next level up.
