Description

Pokemon Yellow(ish) 386 is a ROM hack that plays similarly to Pokemon Yellow, most notably the gym leader battles. I’ve also made all 386 Pokemon accessible. National Dex requirements have been removed to evolve Pokemon, and all trade evolutions have been modified so you don’t need to trade to obtain all the Pokemon.

I have tried to group encounters together in themes. All starter Pokemon are available in Route 1, including Pikachu and Eevee. Stones are available from Viridian Mart to enable early Eevee evolutions, with Sun and Moon Stones needed to obtain Espeon and Umbreon, as there is no night or day cycle. Baby Pokemon all feature in the grass by the day care centre, and all legendary Pokemon are available in Cerulean Cave.

I have added other features like no coin cost for TMs or Pokemon from the game corner, extra steps and balls in the safari zone, while reducing the flee rate of Pokemon. I have included documentation detailing all the changes and wild Pokemon spawns. I have tested through to Elite 4 round 2 with no issues so far.

  • All Fossil Pokémon obtainable in Pokémon Mansion
  • All unobtainable and version exclusive Pokémon available

  • Onix LV.42 –> Steelix
  • Seadra (Use Water Stone) –> Kingdra
  • Scyther LV.42 –> Scizor
  • Eevee (Use Sun Stone) –> Espeon
  • Eevee (Use Moon Stone) –> Umbreon
  • Porygon LV.42 –> Porygon2
  • Feebas LV.20 –> Milotic
  • Clamperl LV.42 –> Huntail
  • Clamperl (Use Water Stone) –> Gorebyss
  • Happiness level required to evolve reduced. Pokémon should evolve through happiness immediately after levelling up
