Rescue Heroes – Billy Blazes is a Rescue Heroes game for the Game Boy Advance, developed by WayForward Technologies and published by Vivendi Universal, released in 2003. A lightning bolt has struck the mountain top and ignited a fire that’s out of control. Billy Blazes goes on a fire fighting adventure through rocky mountains, the forest floor, and city streets to stop the fire and save people’s lives before the fire destroys everything in sight.

The sidescrolling platformer game puts the player in control of Billy Blazes as he rescues a number of people while putting out fires and using different tools along the way, before reaching the exit platform in each level. A bonus game in either the Helicopter, ATV, Firetruck or Jetski follows each level where two bonus nozzles can be earned at the start of the next level.

At the end of the last level, Billy must raise the weather antenna by shooting water at the faucet while avoiding lightning strikes to stop the storm. The game is won after doing so. There are two difficulty modes: Rookie and Advanced. In Rookie mode, Nozzles and water and infinite and all of the tools are available. In Advanced mode, Nozzles must be obtained for extra hit points, water must be refilled at fire hydrants, and the tools must be found in each level before they can be used.
