Snood 2 – On Vacation is a tile-matching puzzle game developed by Gravity-i and published by Destination Software in 2005 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS handhelds. This game was intended as a sequel to Snood Advance. Snood, LLC had no involvement with this game beyond licensing the Snood brand.
Snood 2 is once again based on the original Snood, retaining all the classic gameplay modes as well as the Time Attack and Tournament modes from Advance. The game once again received a graphical overhaul, with the Snoods becoming very small in order to accommodate for larger playfields. Unique to this game is the new World Tour mode, where the player travels between ten different areas, each with six levels, for a total of sixty levels.
Levels in World Tour vary between classic Snood levels and special minigames with unique rules. There are five game modes available: World Tour, Classic, Puzzle, Journey and Armageddon. Four additional bonus games can be unlocked: Snood Ball, Snood Sideways, Snood Grab and Snood Stack, all with small twists on the classic gameplay. Multiplayer is available as well.
