Description

Touhoumon Renko’s Version replaces all 411 Pokemon present in the game with the various Touhou characters, where they are called “Boneka,” Indonesian for “doll”. To be clearer, we can say that they form a pair, as we see in each generation of Pokémon.
 
So you are a boy/girl who travels the world in search of Touhou to fill their Touhoudex and you will also have to face the arena champions in Touhoumon style, with a slightly higher difficulty. The game’s author has replaced Pokémon with characters from the Touhou series, and the ensuing crossover is nothing short of spectacular. If you’re a fan of ZUN’s Touhou series, Touhoumon Renko’s Version is a great way to learn more about this magical world. Fans of both series will enjoy this game because it features their favorite Touhou characters in a Pokémon setting.

What is Touhoumon?

Have you heard of the bullet hell video game franchise Touhou Project? The one that has been on since the 1990s? The one with the wonderful music? It has a lot of characters, with several factions of people, spirits, ghosts, youkai, and gods… “How about we substitute the Pokemon in games with the Touhou characters?” someone pondered one day. and then BAM! Touhoumon was created. Noteworthy derivatives include Touhoumon Purple, Touhoumon Another World, Touhoumon Zoku Gensokyo Scenario, and Touhou Puppet Play Enhanced, among others.
