Description

Pokémon Ambrosia is a game with a focus on unique features, fun gameplay, and extensive additional and post-game content.

Story

  • The story is completely new and centers on an imminent invasion of Kanto due to a war with Hoenn.
  • New dialog for every NPC and event in the entire game
  • Three recurring rivals, one of which uses an exact copy of the player’s party including stats, items, nicknames, everything.

World

  • Many updated maps and numerous all new maps.
  • Random battle weather is assigned upon entering an area, though some maps have fixed weather. 
  • A more open world design allowing the player to enter areas with trainers and Pokemon far stronger than they would be able to beat but with hidden powerful rewards.
  • Can travel north to Blackthorn and west to Olivine from the beginning of the game.
  • Can travel to Kanto as soon as reaching Goldenrod.

Legendary Availability

Legendaries have been made more available. In most cases by lowering their minimum encounter level, in some such as Suicune by changing when key items are given in the story. Here is the minimum encounter level for every legendary, and when you can catch them.

  • Level 30 (3 badges): Latias
  • Level 40 (4 badges): Mew, Celebi, Shaymin
  • Level 50 (7 badges): Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Suicune, Raikou, Entei, Genesect
  • Level 60 (8 badges): Darkrai, Latios, Lugia/Ho-oh, Rayquaza
  • Level 70 (Elite Four): Deoxys, Kyogre, Groudon, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, Regigigas, Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde
  • Level 100 (Post game): Mewtwo, Arceus
