Description

Just wanted to share a Rom Hack I’ve been working on for Pokemon Crystal. It’s designed to be a bit more difficult but has all 251 Pokemon available. I’ve hopefully designed it to be challenging enough without being over the top. I’ve added Master Balls to Goldenrod Mart to make catching legendary Pokemon a little less tedious. The Celebi GS event works on the same day, you just have to talk to Kurt a couple of times to trigger it. I’ve also placed Legendary Pokemon in Silver cave to help with dex completion. Some of the features are as follows:

  • 4x Roaming Pokemon instead of 2 and increased encounter chance
  • Celebi GS Ball event
  • No longer have to wait 24 hours for Kurt to make balls and GS Ball
  • Unbreakable TMs
  • Updated typings including Fairy Type
  • Some move changes
  • Ghost now Special type. Dragon is Physical
  • Coin Case prizes cost 0 coins
  • Updated Marts
  • Increased difficulty for gym leaders and elite 4
  • Level scaling for 5th, 6th and 7th badges
  • Option to Rematch Elite 4 after 16 badges
  • Happiness required to evolve Pokemon is reduced
  • Lapras and Bug Catching contest available every day of the week
  • Exp obtained from catching Pokemon
  • Poliwhirl, Seadra, Onix, Porygon and Slowpoke will evolve by levelling up with their trade item held
