Pokemon Jade is a GBC ROM Hack of Keitai Denjuu Telefang 1. Pokemon Jade is different from all other Pokemon hacks because it is not based on any Nintendo Pokemon ROMs. It is a bootlegged version of Keitai Denjuu Telefang 1. It replaces the Denjuu with Pokemon.

Description
Pokemon Jade is different from all other Pokemon hacks because it is not based on any Nintendo Pokemon ROMs. Besides Pokemon Diamond, they are bootlegged versions of Keitai Denjuu Telefang 1. The Power Version was used to make Diamond, and the Speed Version became Jade. Along with a Chinese version, a partly-translated German one also exists.
These bootlegs are best known for their extremely poor translation, which turns every bit of text into incomprehensible Engrish phrases like “Well, have you had curry?”, among many others. Many characters and Denjuu also had their names changed.
While some of these are slight changes, like Crypto being renamed Kuribute; others are more drastic and inexplicable, like Easydog, Chameraid and Fungmachine being renamed Hat, Ice Cream, and Game Boy respectively. Similarly, the character Kai is interchangeably called Boundary, Ken, and Kate.
