Description

This is Pokemon Trading Card Game: Bad Luck version! The premise of this hack is exceedingly simple: it is a 1:1 copy of the original pokémon trading card game rom with a few extra features and made using the 3 palette hack so everything is more colorful! Except…you, the player, simply have the WORST luck imaginable. It is so horrifically bad that all of your coin flips will land on tails, all of your opponent’s coin flips will land on heads, and every random event will always hurt you! You will always go second and Sleep is practically a death sentence.

Despite this, will you try anyway to claim the Legendary Pokemon cards? Can you survive this amazing hack and live long enough to brag about it!? Ever since the inception of Pokemon TCG Neo, my fellow card hacking colleagues and I have been bombarded with questions of making hard modes for our games. We tried to tell them it was too complicated, that it was exceedingly difficult to make the AI play good. The demands kept coming regardless. Well everyone, I have good news. The monkey’s paw curled. You got your wish.

Features

• All cards and duelist sprites are now more colorful thanks to Electro’s 3 palette tweak. Aside from this, no cards have been changed from the original version.
• New player sprites and default name. ( I may add a female player character if there’s enough interest)
• All coin flips will land on tails for you, but heads for the opponent. All random effects will always hurt you and never the opponent.
• The promo cards are now found normally in packs.
• Cards that I think would be helpful to the player now have a less chance of being pulled (because I have no mercy).
• Some cards have been altered internally to prevent softlocks (like Geodude).
• Ronald’s final deck has been altered (because I have no mercy)
