Pokemon Mega Red is a Pokemon GBA Rom Hack by Mortal based on Pokemon Fire Red in English/Portuguese. Pokemon MegaRed is a ROM hack that adds modern mechanics such as Z-Moves, Dynamax, and a stylized interface, directly to the GBA and in Portuguese.
 
The visual design is very reminiscent of Sword & Shield, with more "modern" dialogue boxes, distinctive animations, and menus with icons not seen in common hacks.

Description

Pokemon MegaRed is a ROM hack that adds modern mechanics such as Z-Moves, Dynamax, and a stylized interface directly to the GBA and in Portuguese. The visual design is very reminiscent of Sword & Shield, with more “modern” dialogue boxes, distinctive animations, and menus with icons not seen in common hacks. Furthermore, MegaRed mixes Portuguese and English text.

Making it clear that the project was built experimentally, without the intention of following official standards. The game is difficult from the start and requires grinding within the first few minutes, mainly because experience gain is low and the initial trainers already come with strong teams. Another point that stands out is the high number of Shinies, which makes the game visually unpredictable and very memorable.
