Description

Kanto like you’ve never seen before! What if Pokémon Fire Red were a truly living world? This project is a complete Fire Red ROM hack that preserves the original nostalgia while fully enhancing exploration, immersion, and overall challenge. Kanto is no longer just a path between Gyms; it’s a world filled with stories, unique trainers, secret events, and Pokémon living naturally throughout the region. The main story follows the original Fire Red journey, expanded with over 30 new quests that deepen the world and characters of Kanto.

New Features

  • Two brand-new legendary quests have been added to the game! Players can now embark on epic journeys to capture the mighty Ho-Oh and Lugia.
  • A brand-new exclusive area for Ho-Oh has been introduced: Sacred Peak. Besides the legendary guardian of the skies, the region is also home to several other rare Pokémon.
  • A brand-new exclusive area for Lugia has been introduced: Silent Deep. Explore the mysterious depths of this location while facing new challenges and discovering unique Pokémon.
  • A new Ghost-type focused area has been added: Deadwater Grotto. Prepare yourself for eerie encounters and terrifying creatures.
  • The Move Relearner is now available in every Pokémon Center across Kanto, making it easier to relearn forgotten moves.

Improvements

  • Professor Oak now gives players 10 Poké Balls at the start of the adventure, allowing for more capture opportunities right from the beginning.
  • Ether prices have been significantly reduced to minimize the need for constant trips back to Pokémon Centers.
  • Surf options to Seafoam Islands have been replaced with Surf routes to Cerulean, making navigation more convenient.
  • Trainers inside Lavender Tower have been reworked to provide a more balanced and challenging experience.
  • The items White Herb, Lax Incense, and Macho Brace have been added to the battle item vendor on Island 6.
  • Running Shoes are now given to the player as soon as they enter Route 1, speeding up the pace of the adventure from the very start.
  • Pokémon Center scripts have been adjusted to correctly position the player after healing their Pokémon.
  • Catch rates for certain Pokémon have been increased to create a smoother and more rewarding gameplay experience.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to access the upper levels of Hardstone Cave and Den of Wet Bones without having at least 5 badges.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to Surf from Pallet to Seafoam Islands or Fuchsia without owning 5 badges.
  • Fixed sprite issues involving several trees located between Pallet and Pewter.
  • Fixed a bug where players could get stuck in trees after using Escape Rope inside Berry Forest.
