Description

The aim of Pokemon Masters Red was to create a simple but innovative hack made as an arcade from the original Red version. No need to grind for hours or days, the game is focused on battles and is very straightforward.

Features

  • You pick your team from a new roster (replaced pokedex and PC boxes for a smoother team building).
  • Fight the best sixteen trainers of Kanto to become champion, from the easiest boss to the final boss.
  • Your Pokemon all restore fully before each new fight.
  • You can switch teams at any time between battles directly from the start menu.
  • No items in battle, smarter AI, upgraded movesets, some new pokemon types (and more!) to make each battle fun and competitive.
  • Also made 3 game modes for those who want to experience different difficulties.
  • Added more dragon types (Gyarados now Water/Dragon, Charizard now Fire/Dragon and Seadra now Water/Dragon)
  • Added more Ghost types (Ninetales now Fire/Ghost and Marowak now Ground/Ghost), so Dragonite and Gengar are not unique types anymore and players can diversify their teams.
  • I also updated many Pokemon STATS to reduce the gap between the strongest and the weakest pokemon, allowing you to enjoy playing with your favorite Pokemon and experience various team selections.
  • I retuned most moves’ hit power and accuracy to make sure all types are competitive and corrected broken things from the original game: Critical rate is now 10% chance per turn for all Pokemon.
  • Pokemon can now unfreeze at random within 3 turns.
    Ghost moves now are super effective to the Psychic type (as it should be!).
  • Amnesia’s special multiplier was slightly reduced, so Psychic is no longer the best type by far.
  • Updated the sprites for (much) better game visuals.
