Description

Pokemon Peak Kanto aims to be THE peak way to experience the Kanto region and its Pokemon. “Think Kanto Expansion Pak meets Radical Red.

Features

  • Added 50+ ‘SEVIIAN’ FORMS to encounter. (Based on existing forms, no Fakemons).

  • Complete ENCOUNTER OVERHAUL. Almost ALL POKEMON AVAILABLE by the time you reach Fuschia. (Done to increase the variety of team building options and improve the viability of certain Pokémon by placing them earlier in the game).

  • Complete LEARNSET OVERHAULS. (Focused on making all Pokémon viable and with their own niches).

  • Significant MOVE STATS UPDATES. (Focused on balancing to make most moves useful at the point they are learned).

  • Completely REVAMPED GYM LEADER & BOSS TEAMS. (Focused on creating more engaging and challenging fights that feel like an accomplishment to overcome. Inspired by mainline games, Stadium, TCG sets and the anime).

  • Minor MAP CHANGES such as a cut tree in Pallet Town and route back from Mt. Moon to Pewter. (Mostly edited for convenience or to change the availability of Pokémon, eg. getting Tangela earlier).

  • Added several encounter with Silver from GSC to the game.

  • Revised basically all boss battles up to and including the first Champion fight.
  • Introduced Berserk Gene into the game so the player can access the Berserk Forms via Primal Reversion.
  • Set Trainer Tower (and thus access to Master Balls) to be locked until after the events of Cerulean Cave are complete.
  • Set access to Cerulean Cave to be locked until after defeating the 6 wild Berserk forms in the Sevii Islands.
  • Fixed Four Island rival encounter.
  • Fixed Cerulean Cave Green encounter.
  • Added custom move animations for the Eevee LGPE moves.

  • The Pokémon who can hold evo stones are 20% encounter rate in their earliest location now (except the Clefairy line as you can receive a guaranteed Moon Stone before Surge).
  • Updated many wild Pokémon held items.
  • Changed Metal Powder to act as a steel-move boosting item.
  • Updated G-Slowpoke’s evo methods to match normal Slowpoke’s.
  • Updated Chansey evo method to be via Oval Stone instead of Lucky Punch.
  • Added a merchant on the SS Anne who can sell you type-boosting items.
  • Diversified the encounters in Pokémon Tower and Diglett’s Cave.
  • Fixed some dialogue mistakes and inconsistencies.
  • Fixed Tracey’s pathing in lab.

  • Fixed nugget bridge blackscreen issue.
  • Updated some trainer teams and movesets slightly.
  • Fixed a freezing bug at Navel Rock.
