Description

Pokemon Brisk Emerald is a Pokemon GBA ROM hack of Pokemon Emerald. It features all Pokemon up to Gen 9, including Regional forms, changed many evolutions to be easier to evolve, easy access to ALL evolution items, early-game routes changed to be less forceful, increased encounter rates, and much more!

New features

  • Access to all Mega Stones
  • Access to all Z stones
  • Lilycove has most items, though I need people to help figure out what items I’m missing.
  • EXP share changes: I decided against the usual team share that ROM hacks add. I made it so that you can buy them in Lilycove, and they give 100% of EXP to both the battler and the mon.
  • EXP Candy and Rare Candy are now easily bought in Lilycove
  • Overworld encounters were added. I don’t know if shinies have shiny sprites, but they will make a sparkle noise and won’t despawn if you leave their range.
  • HGSS Pokedex was added (No dexnav, sorry guys)
  • There’s a cave for fighting Kubfu in Meteor Falls, past Steven. Scrolls are found in Slateport
  • Shiny rate is 1 in 512
  • Pokerus is 1 in 512
  • Some Trainer battles are changed (All up to Rustboro)
  • To balance out all this exp stuff, routes are significantly higher level, though I haven’t changed trainers yet.
  • Some routes were changed to stop horrifying backtracking
  • Blissey cave in Granite Cave (it’s only level 60 Blisseys), but you don’t have to fight them

  • All Pokemon are obtainable, excluding Legendaries and Mythicals
  • Added methods to evolve every Hisuian form
  • Added methods to evolve every Galarian form
  • Changed many evolutions to be more conducive (I think that’s the right word) to casual players
  • Added methods for every trade evolution to be done solo
  • 25-Mon encounter tables for land, 12-Mon encounter tables for water
  • Easy access to ALL evolution items, I think (except for Mega Stones) in Slateport
  • Early game routes changed to be less forceful
  • Increased encounter rates
  • Starter Cave on 101
  • All Paradox pokemon on Victory Road (even Walking Wake, Iron Leaves, etc)
  • No more bullshit “249 recoil” evolution methods
  • Day/Night locks as well as Gender Locks were (mostly) removed.
  • Pokenature evolutions like Dudunsparce and Tandemous were removed.

Planned Updates

  • More Changed trainer battles
  • More work on the Champions Archives
  • Fusion items like the Necrozma stuff, but only if those legendaries are added.
  • Every trainer battle will be changed
  • Champions Archive will be finished.
  • More boxes
