Description

Pokemon Pretty Kanto is a wide remapping project of the Kanto Region to improve a classic-style playthrough of the classic Gen 1 region. Developed for Gen 3. Pretty Kanto is a barebones revamp of FireRed that aims to improve overworld travel, remove any need to travel to the Sevii Islands, and generally improve gameplay with small tweaks. 

Features

• The Overworld and Viridian Forest have seen extensive overhauls. Namely removing tall grass from getting in your way.

• It should be possible to obtain all 150 original Pokemon. Breeding is also available sooner on Route 22.

• The Good Rod can be obtained from the fisherman in the Viridian Mart.

• The Viridian Mart also now stocks Premier Balls for those looking for flair, and Rare Candies for quick play sessions (honor system)

• Repels, Vitamins, & PP Ups have had their prices reduced to be more worth buying.

• TMs are more accessable, with Sludgebomb appearing in Celadon Condos & Hidden Power + Facade being added to the department store. 

• Items in the Game Corner are priced for a converted cost as if it was a regular shop.

• The Sevii Island Move Tutors have been added to locations matching their approximate locations in generation 1. (Where the moves were TMs)

• Some version exclusive Pokemon should be obtained from trades now.

• The Safari Zone now primarily features Pokemon who were only obtained once in a play through.

• All Fossil Pokemon can be caught in the wild. 

• All Kantonian Pokemon can evolve without the use of Trading, and many have their evolution levels reduced slightly. (Or a lot for Dragonite)

• Someone spilled a lot of coins on the ground somewhere
